For over 50 years, William Tell Banquets at the Holiday Inn Countryside has been hosting some of the finest weddings in the Chicagoland Area. In 2003 the owners of William Tell Banquets recommitted themselves to that long tradition and began renovating and redecorating the facilities. Now in 2007, after four years and five million dollars William Tell Banquets is ready to continue hosting Chicagolands finest weddings for another 50 years.
All three hundred rooms, and all the public areas of the Holiday Inn Countryside have been completely renovated and redecorated. All of William Tell banquets twelve Dining/Meeting rooms; the Grand Ball Room and the Atrium have also been remodeled.
A newly remodeled William Tell Restaurant once again offers its Old World charm, delicious food and wonderful hospitality. And it is now complimented by Stanley’s lounge, where the menu and the atmosphere are modern and relaxed. The Food and Beverage department has completely redesigned all of the Wedding and Corporate menus, retaining old favorites and adding some new and exciting items and packages.
William Tell offers a complete answer to all your wedding needs. Our property features 4 very uniquely characteristic banquet rooms varying in style and size.
- Our Atrium Room with 25 ft ceiling, triple fireplace and loft can accommodate up to 300 guests
- Our Terrace Room with a private entrance, skylights & stained glass window can accommodate up to 180 guests
- Our Grand Ballroom with crystal chandeliers and white marble dance floor can accommodate up to 350 guests
- Our Countryside Room is perfect for the more intimate reception with mirrored walls and high ceilings. This room is a guarantee of 75 adults and can accommodate up to 160 guests
We have a large patio perfect for your outdoor ceremony and a beautiful garden with a gazebo, perfect for photo opportunities. The William Tell Restaurant & Banquets can accommodate your small intimate affair starting with 35 guests or your large gala for 400 guests.
We can host your Bridal Shower, hold your rehearsal dinner, and host both your ceremony and reception if you would like. All of your requirements organized and managed by Professional Wedding Coordinators. Teamed with the Holiday Inn, we can offer your guests a full service hotel to accommodate before and after wedding activities.
